| EVENT: Christopher Hedge and Magnetic Poets at 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino Italy
Description: The Poets create a global collaboration through the internet while performing live at the Olympics in Torino. Artists from around the world are invited to create short video performances of their music. Because of the Poets technology, these performances are integrated into the live show performed nightly in Piazza Solferino. Special guests also performed live on the spectacular Torino stage: Stephen Kent on Didjeridu, Carol Luna vocalist, Chico Freeman on Sax, CLEAN hip hop vox, and guests from the Torino music scene. The Poets are joined in the performance by video artist Grant Davis and his partner Sean Cooper. Ed McClary has become a true Poet and joins the show on Drums. Link to photos from the show... EVENT: Performance Showcase 2004 , San Francisco, CA 4-15-2004 @ 8pm Description: Upcoming concert as part of a new performing arts series including jazz, dance and "new music" (that's us) at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. The Poets will premiere "Compassion" by Paul Horn, and "From the Lake" , aerial observations on polluting the earth, by David Maisel.
